Make a Homemade Glitter Necklace by KRJ

You can use any good quality glitter which gives a shine finish that is soft to the touch, so it would not feel bumpy as well as itchy like regular shine would.

You need a plastic bag of wood beads from the store and a feet of tough cord string.

Start with string the beads on the strong cord.

Tied up one end of the cord to a weighty outdoor chair and the other end to one more chair therefore the cord was nicely skilled. Spread the beads out on the cord so they are not touching.

Then spray a glitter coat to cover as much of the beads as you can and then when they dry and turn them to paint the other sides.
When the beads is completely cover from glitter coat. You let them carefully dry and then you spray a coat of clear polish on them.

Use a lightweight silk cut ribbon (I like the small fray of the edges and the soft weight of it) but you can use any type of band or cord to rope your beads on. To equal it to the beads which you spray it with a light paint of simply spray fabric dye that does not need any heat setting. The dye silk ribbon.

Finally string the beads onto the ribbon using a larger needle.

Your beautiful glitter necklace is ready for wear. A gorgeous necklace wonderful to dress up a t-shirt as well as jeans.
